Ranking System & Points Breakdown

The International Padel Federation (FIP), in conjunction with QATAR AIRWAYS PREMIER PADEL, announced procedure with regards to the 2026 ranking in the male and female categories.

FIP RANKING 2026

As in 2025, the 22 best results achieved by players in the QATAR AIRWAYS PREMIER PADEL and CUPRA FIP TOUR tournaments will form the FIP Ranking 2026.
The distribution of points depends on the category of the tournament and the round achieved, which ensures a hierarchical system and promotes annual competitive consistency.
This mechanism is essential to structure the ranking and regulate access to tournaments according to performance level.

DEFENCE POINTS 2025

Point defence is based on a continuous 52-week cycle, where players must match or better their performance in the same weeks of the previous year to retain points in their ranking.
The loss of points is automatic and points are deleted at the end of the cycle. These will be replaced by the result obtained in the corresponding week of the current year.

The points achieved in the MAJOR and FINALS tournaments held in 2025 will be defended during the week of the MAJOR and FINALS tournament in 2026.

RANKING RULES RACE

The Race Ranking is determined by each player’s best 22 results of 2026, namely tournaments played on the 2026 QATAR AIRWAYS PREMIER PADEL and CUPRA FIP TOUR circuits.
